What you will be doing:
The Technical Sales & Application Engineer is responsible for supporting and developing Franklin Electric water pump business across Vietnam. This role combines technical application support, quotation preparation, consultant specification activities, customer service, troubleshooting, project support, and business development to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, system integrators, and end users throughout Vietnam.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and project leads.
- Promote Franklin Electric products and solutions to customers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations for pump projects.
- Review project requirements, drawings, BOQs, and tender specifications.
- Select suitable pump solutions based on application and hydraulic requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, submittals, compliance statements, and pump schedules.
- Work closely with Water supply companies, M&E consultants, design institutes, and engineering companies to secure specifications.
- Conduct technical presentations, product training sessions, and seminars.
- Provide troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, and after-sales support.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and performance evaluations of pumps and systems.
- Investigate technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project developments.
- Provide regular business, project, and market reports to management.

What you need:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in water pumps, M&E, building services, water treatment, or industrial equipment industries.
- Experience with Franklin Electric or other major pump brands is an advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Pump sizing and selection.
- Understanding of pump curves, hydraulic calculations, and system requirements.
- Knowledge of booster systems, sewage pumps, submersible pumps, and vertical multistage pumps.
- Ability to read construction drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Experience using pump selection software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
