Biotage is hiring a Technical Sales Specialist – Analytical to bridge cutting-edge chemistry with real-world impact.
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth across the territory by combining scientific expertise with consultative sales. You’ll support customers in optimizing their analytical workflows, particularly in sample preparation and chromatography techniques, while promoting Biotage’s innovative solutions.
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation on sample preparation and analytical workflows (HPLC, LC-MS)
- Identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions through consultative sales
- Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through strategic, consultative engagement with customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, method development support, and customer training
- Collaborate with marketing to develop scientific content (Application Notes, Webinars)
- Analyse and report sales performance to internal stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with application specialists, product managers, and technical teams
Skills and experience
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, or a related field
- Proven expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and sample preparation workflows
- Business-level proficiency in Korean and English
- Strong problem-solving skills and a business-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Willingness to travel for customer engagement and industry events
