Job Summary
As a Junior Consultant, you will support technical safety and risk projects by performing robust analysis, modeling, and calculations under the guidance of senior team members. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in technical safety and risk projects involving risk analysis, modeling, and calculations.

  • Perform technically sound analysis based on defensible data and reasoned arguments.

  • Support development of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) models using Excel spreadsheets.

  • Assist in fire and explosion modeling, gas and smoke dispersion modeling using CFD or empirical tools.

  • Conduct risk calculations (e.g., probability of events occurring) and non-flammable hazard analysis.

  • Contribute to Escape, Temporary Refuge, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (ETRERA) for offshore facilities.

  • Participate in safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP) as a scribe and assist in client reporting.

  • Prepare sections of safety cases and high-quality reports with clear diagrams and explained calculations.

  • Support proposal preparation and attend client meetings as required

  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols in all project activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree or professional registration is a plus).

  • At least 3 years in safety and risk analysis projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.

  • Commitment to safety and willingness to travel for project needs.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
