The Role

Global restaurant brands run their operation on the Crunchtime platform. Delivering a consistent guest experience across every location and managing food and labor costs are at the core of how Crunchtime’s software is used today in over 150,000 locations across 100+ countries by the world’s top restaurant and foodservice operators. Customers including Chipotle, Culver’s, Domino’s, Dunkin’, Five Guys and P.F. Chang’s rely on our top-ranked platform which now includes Zenput to manage inventory, staff scheduling, learning and development, food safety, operational tasks and audits.

About the Role: 

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be the critical link between Crunchtime's evolving Engineering and Product teams and the high-impact technical talent we need to build our future. You will identify, engage, and confidently assess candidates for core technical roles, collaborating closely with People Ops and Hiring teams to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough recruiter screens designed to validate specific technical skills, domain knowledge, and a candidate's ability to learn and adapt to our growing organization
  • Develop and ask probing behavioral, situational, and technical questions designed to confidently assess technical skills and experience, ensuring candidates possess the necessary technical acumen before advancing to the hiring team.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to define specific skill requirements for each role, and co-design effective interview loops, while proactively communicating recruiting activity, findings, and recommendations to optimize the overall hiring strategy.
  • Champion a positive and respectful experience for all applicants while actively engaging the technical community to attract talent and promote Crunchtime’s culture.
  • Maintain strong data integrity and manage all candidate information in Greenhouse ATS, while proactively sharing feedback and insights to continuously improve the efficiency and rigor of our interview process.
  • Contribute to evolving organizational needs and talent initiatives as required, embracing opportunities to develop new skills and impact the broader People team strategy.

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Experience managing a pipeline from initial sourcing through offer negotiation and close, preferably within a fast-paced technology or SaaS environment. We’re generally seeking 2+ years of technical recruiting focus, with a preference for international.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the core technical concepts, languages, and frameworks used in Software Engineering, Product Development, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure/DevOps
  • Proven ability to ask probing, technical-specific questions to dig beneath surface-level claims and assess the depth and breadth of a candidate’s skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of proactivity, using analytical skills to identify hiring blockers and propose impactful solutions. Must operate with integrity, owning mistakes and approaching tough conversations directly.
  • Exceptional Communication and Influence in articulating technical assessments, process findings, and recommendations both verbally and in writing, to quickly gain alignment and influence hiring outcomes.

  • International recruiting experience

Essential Physical & Mental Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Prolonged periods of typing and working at a computer
  • Ability to listen and speak over the phone or Zoom calls
  • High level of mental concentration and focus

Compensation:

The anticipated annualized base salary range for this full time position is $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to: job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
