What success looks like in this role:
Provides dedicated Talent Acquisition support for the data center engineering business, with a specific focus on recruiting Data Center Engineers. Operates as an embedded member of the core business team, partnering closely with business leaders, client delivery, sales, and dedicated field managers to build and maintain a high-performing engineering talent pipeline that supports the business's ongoing staffing needs.
Talent Acquisition / External Recruiting
Partners with assigned hiring leaders, client delivery managers, and dedicated field managers to assess staffing needs and determine sourcing strategy for Data Center Engineer roles.
Creates and maintains job postings across internal and external websites, job boards, and social/professional networks tailored to data center engineering talent pools.
Proactively sources, attracts, and screens technical candidates, keeping candidate experience and speed-to-fill top of mind given the time-sensitive nature of client opportunities.
Advises hiring leaders on effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques specific to technical/data center roles.
Presents qualified, client-ready candidates to hiring leaders for consideration, with an emphasis on quality and fit that supports opportunity win rates.
Effectively negotiates and closes candidate offers, balancing speed and cost with quality of hire
Develops offers in line with approved compensation guidelines.
Manages and tracks the full recruitment lifecycle in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with recruitment policy and process for all data center engineering requisitions.
May manage external recruitment agency engagement and performance for hard-to-fill or urgent Data Center Engineer roles.
Business Partnership
Operates as a core member of the data center engineering business team, working alongside sales, client delivery, and dedicated field managers to align recruiting activity with active and upcoming client opportunities.
Provides visibility into talent availability and time-to-fill estimates to support sales and delivery in planning and staffing engagements.
Builds and maintains a warm pipeline of pre-qualified Data Center Engineer candidates to reduce time-to-staff for the business.
Tracks and reports recruiting metrics tied to business outcomes (e.g., fill rate, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, candidate quality).
Participates in staffing forecast discussions with business leaders to proactively flag talent risks or gaps.
Continuously refines sourcing strategy based on feedback from client delivery and sales stakeholders.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Prior experience recruiting for technical/engineering roles; data center, infrastructure, or hardware engineering recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales and delivery teams in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
Experience with Workday or similar ATS/HRIS platforms.
Strong negotiation, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
