Essential Functions:
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and workforce planning objectives.
- Source, recruit, and engage qualified candidates using job boards, social media, professional networking platforms, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and skills assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of technical talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews throughout the recruitment process.
- Guide candidates through the hiring process, including interview preparation, offer discussions, onboarding, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting platforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, candidates, colleges, trade schools, industry organizations, and professional networks.
- Stay current on labor market trends, recruiting best practices, sourcing strategies, and industry developments.
- Represent AAA USA at career fairs, recruiting events, networking functions, and community outreach initiatives.
- Meet recruiting metrics, hiring goals, and service-level expectations while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent recruiting experience may be considered.
- Experience recruiting for technical, skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, marine, or industrial positions preferred.
- Previous experience as a Technical Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, Staffing Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar recruiting role.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruiting databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard recruiting technologies.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
