We are seeking an experienced Technical Contract Recruiter to support our growing hiring needs. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment across a variety of technical and some non-technical roles. You’ll play a critical part in sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier engineering talent, while partnering closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
Our recruitment model includes a blend of in-house, full life cycle recruiting, and the use of staffing agencies during high-volume hiring periods. In the early phase of this role, your focus will be on screening employee referral candidates, confirming compensation expectations, and scheduling interviews for both referral and staffing agency candidates. You’ll also be involved in negotiating and extending offers to agency candidates and supporting agency submissions, including addressing inquiries from agency representatives.
This position requires a proactive, resourceful recruiter who understands technical requirements, can build strong candidate pipelines, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While based in Bangalore, some alignment with U.S. working hours will be necessary.
We use Ashby for applicant tracking and interview scheduling.
In the first month, focus on:
Screening employee referral candidates
Confirming compensation expectations
Scheduling interviews via Ashby
Managing the offer process for all candidates
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to interviewing and closing offers
Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to align on role requirements and sourcing strategies
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified technical candidates using LinkedIn, GitHub, professional networks, employee referrals, and other sourcing platforms
Conduct behavioral and technical screening interviews to evaluate candidate fit and qualifications
Ensure a top-notch candidate experience through clear, timely communication and follow-through
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our ATS (Ashby experience preferred)
Collaborate with U.S.-based team members and staffing agencies to align on hiring priorities and candidate progress
Provide weekly updates on pipeline activity
Must live in or near Bangalore, India and be available to be in office periodically, 10AM-7PM IST
Minimum of 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on technical roles (e.g., software development, DevOps)
Proven track record recruiting for roles involving technologies such as C++, Golang, AWS, Frontend, and Backend development
Experience working with U.S.-based clients or overlapping with U.S. time zones is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
Solid understanding of technical skill sets and current industry trends
Proficiency with ATS platforms (experience with Ashby is a plus) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company is a strong advantage
