The GoFundMe team is looking for a Technical Recruiter (Contractor) to join our recruiting team & help us hire top-tier talent as we continue to grow GoFundMe!  You will report directly to our Talent Acquisition Manager and work closely with our stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process. If you’re a motivated recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a knack for sourcing diverse technical talent, we’d love to meet you! 

The Job…

• Full-cycle technical & non-technical recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers for positions such as software engineers, product managers, data scientists, IT professionals and more.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and build effective hiring strategies.
• Source and attract diverse candidates using various platforms (LinkedIn, Greenhouse, SeekOut, job boards etc.) 
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical skills, culture fit, and overall alignment with company values.
• Manage candidate communications and ensure timely follow ups and great candidate experiences.
• Collaborate with the People team to ensure a positive candidate experience and seamless onboarding process.
• Consistently track and maintain pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters. 
• Report out on sourcing & screening metrics, industry findings, etc.  Having a data driven mindset is a big plus. 

You… 

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, either in-house or at an agency
• Proven track record of sourcing and hiring technical candidates efficiently
• Strong understanding of technical roles, skills and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, engage and close candidates with a variety of experience and skills. 
• A team member who is empathetic and resonates with our GoFundMe’s mission.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and support our teams effectively. 
• Ability to take on projects when time allows and optimize processes.

Preferred… 

• Prior experience with GreenHouse, LinkedIn Recruiter & SeekOut

The hourly pay rate for this contract position is: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour. Due to this being a contract position, this individual will not receive benefits or equity. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range based on your location during the hiring process.
