- Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception through implementation
- Participate in developing strategies, processes, and resource planning
- Lead implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the 6S Program across Santa Clara Lab Operations
- Ensure alignment with corporate standards and site-specific operational needs
- Manage project schedules and task details using tracking tools (reports, checklists, scheduling software)
- Conduct site-wide 6S audits; develop corrective action plans and ensure timely closure
- Coordinate resources across the division to meet on-time and within-budget objectives
- Initiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Logistics, Facilities, EHS, Quality) to embed 6S into operations
- Drive cost and schedule performance for equipment supporting internal and external customers globally
- Participate in cross-functional design teams and provide technical input to achieve project goals
- Champion visual management, standard work, labeling, and workplace organization to improve safety and efficiency
- Interface across teams to define objectives, provide status updates, and support release/deployment readiness
- Provide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs and initiatives
- Identify project risks/issues and develop solutions to resolve them
- Own and manage 6S tools and systems (e.g., PowerApps, SharePoint trackers, dashboards)
- Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops
- Partner with leadership to reinforce 6S behaviors, coaching, and performance alignment
- Demonstrates depth of expertise in specialized discipline
- Applies 6S methodology to improve workplace organization, safety, and workflow in manufacturing/lab environments
- Utilizes knowledge of 6S audits, certification standards, and sustainment systems
- Evaluates business challenges and recommends process improvements
- Applies 6S principles to identify operational gaps and implement best practices
- Uses audit data and trend analysis to drive efficiency and reduce waste
- Leads teams or projects of moderate complexity
- Drives cross-functional 6S initiatives including audits and certification readiness
- Coaches stakeholders on 6S standards and adoption of visual management and standard work
- Solves complex problems using analytical thinking and structured methodologies
- Applies 6S tools (e.g., root cause analysis, waste identification, flow mapping)
- Implements corrective actions and sustainable process improvements

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
