  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources. 
  • Leads Business Unit quality and reliability improvement projects, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) from root-cause analysis through validated closure.
  • Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software. 
  • Drives cost, schedule, and quality/reliability performance across programs for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.
  • Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects.  Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals. 
  • Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment. 
  • Provides engineering and business process expertise to teams and other members on various standard programs / issues. 
  • Familiar with working on IT applications (such as quality management, PLM, MES, and ERP systems) to manage projects and track quality and reliability metrics.
  • Analyzes quality and reliability data to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.

  • Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field, specifically quality systems and reliability engineering methods (e.g., FMEA, 8D, root-cause analysis, and statistical process control)

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services 

Leadership 

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Program/project management experience, including project planning and scheduling
  • Experience leading CAPA and corrective/preventive action processes from root cause to closure
  • Depth/breadth in quality systems and reliability engineering methods (FMEA, 8D, root-cause analysis)
  • Experience with statistical process control and analyzing quality/reliability data
  • Familiarity with IT applications such as quality management systems, PLM, MES, and ERP
  • Proven ability to drive cost, schedule, and quality/reliability performance across programs
  • Experience using project management tools and project scheduling software
  • Ability to lead multifunctional teams and provide technical/business process expertise
