As a Technical Project Manager III in Consumer and Community Banking, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work directly with engineering teams is a must.
- Experience managing and driving programs across cross functional teams.
- Strong in project management discipline including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management experience.
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work with senior leaders.
- Knowledge of cloud such as Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.,
- Ability to establish and build strong relationships and partnerships across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence, organize, and direct people across various seniorities, teams, and departments.
- Hands on experience on project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, JIRA, etc.,
- Hands on experience on analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.,
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience running a Site reliability program for a large organization.
- Experience with SRE tools is a plus.
- AWS Certification is a plus.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
