The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Technical Project Manage to Power Transformers. You will assist in establishing and implementing rules, tools, process and general improvements within the engineering team to align with our long-term vision and deliver measurable value to the organization. How you’ll make an impact
- Assist in establishing and implementing rules, tools, process and general improvements to ensure consistency across projects, such as quality assurance and control procedures, change management, risk management, communication strategies, documentation standards, etc.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, customers, and other key individuals involved in the project.
- Facilitate cross functional team meetings and resolve challenges between resources.
- Identify risks and issues affecting successful execution of projects and develop contingency plans.
- Support project planning including creation of work break-down structures (WBS), scheduling, estimating, resource allocation and reporting for assigned projects.
- Provide regular status updates on all projects.
- Coordinate activities between technical and non-technical resources.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Experience working in an engineering environment, preferably within research and development.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
- You are a curious person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous development in both short and long term.
- As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluent in English is required. Swedish is strongly preferable for collaboration with local stakeholders.
