We’re looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in web and mobile application development and cloud-based ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading distributed, remote-first teams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
In this role, you’ll:
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through execution and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers across different time zones.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical action items and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and consistent communication.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and remove blockers to keep the team focused and on track.
- Continuously improve project workflows and communication strategies in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of software development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge of software development to guide the team in technical decision-making, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure best practices are followed.
- If you possess web development skills, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable insights and expertise in web-related projects and technologies.
- Lead and motivated cross-functional project teams, consisting of developers, designers, QA testers, and other technical professionals, fostering collaboration and productivity.
- Oversee testing, quality control, and adherence to coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue tracking, ensuring a well-organized project record.
- 7+ years of experience in Project Management within tech companies or software development environments.
- Proven experience managing web, mobile, and cloud-based projects.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote, cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working across time zones and handling asynchronous communication.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and ambiguity.
