The Payments Platform & Network Partnerships team, part of the Engineering organization, is responsible for ensuring that TabaPay remains seamlessly connected to the global payments ecosystem. We manage critical relationships with payment networks, oversee technical integrations and platform configurations, and track industry changes that impact our payments infrastructure.
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead critical implementation projects with external payment networks and collaborate closely with engineering. This role focuses on managing technical integrations and coordinating project across multiple stakeholders.
Success requires strong collaboration with engineering and external partners and the ability to develop deep expertise in network configurations. You must be able to interpret complex network documentation, anticipate risks, drive clarity, and make informed decisions. A keen curiosity for how system configurations impact financial and operational outcomes is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and document network configurations – Ensure selections align with business, partner, and customer use cases, preventing unnecessary risks.
- Lead technical integration projects with external partners – Oversee project execution and drive implementation success.
- Partner with engineering teams – Facilitate collaboration, clarify project needs, and ensure smooth technical execution.
- Develop and refine project workflows – Improve documentation and establish structured, repeatable processes that eliminate inefficiencies and reduce errors in high-stakes submissions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external partners – Deliver clear updates, align on project timelines, and ensure smooth collaboration.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a high-agency, process-driven project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving multiple initiatives in parallel, and ensuring that teams stay aligned on priorities. You should also bring:
- Technical project management experience – Leading integrations and implementations with external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Ability to interpret network documentation, assess configurations, and identify key decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills – A natural ability to create structure, maintain detailed project tracking, and ensure accountability at every step.
- Clear and effective communication – Ability to synthesize technical and operational information into concise updates tailored to different audiences.
- A high-ownership mindset – You take initiative, find answers, and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
- Experience improving workflows and documentation – Ability to refine processes for efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
The pay range for this position is $110,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits as listed below, dependent on the position offered.
This position is hybrid, requiring in-person attendance 2-3 times a week attendance at our Palo Alto, CA HQ.
