The Role
Responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with a high degree of quality. This role is onsite in our Overland Park, KS office location.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for actively engaging with cross-functional technical and product management teams to prioritize tasks/work effort by understanding scope, requirements, level of effort, and pipeline, and clarify tradeoffs when changes are made to that plan 

  • Create and monitor active work, backlog, priorities and risks to team members, internal and external stakeholders 

  • Provide advice to business partners on options to accomplish requested projects 

  • Manage project documentation and report on project status, backlog, and resources 

  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion 

  • Implement, measure and report on key performance indicators and ensure project dashboards are up to date. 

  • Adhere to enterprise-wide project management methodology standards 

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience 

  • At least 3 years experience with project coordination or management of IT and/or software development projects 

  • Proven track record leading agile development teams and delivering enterprise software projects on time and within budget 

  • Expert in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall 

  • Strong technical background with ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels 

  • Demonstrated experience with project management tools such as Jira or MS Project and creating detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocations 

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification  

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification 

  • Understand fundamentals of release and change management to deliver successful projects
