The Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing software development projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.


You will work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project milestones are met, risks are identified and managed, and project issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development projects and ensure that all project milestones are met, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with development teams to manage project delivery, track progress, and identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated, and that project issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined, understood, and translated into development tasks.
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project timelines, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality and meet business requirements.
  • Manage project change requests and ensure that project scope changes are approved and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development project management
  • Strong experience in managing software development projects using Agile methodologies
  • Proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project
  • Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiar with Scrum methodologies
