ACGI Software is in search of an experienced, self-motivated project manager to play a vital role on our team. This individual must provide expert project management services to our existing association and credentialing software users through consistent interaction with clients, internal operations, and outside service partners. Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter with initiative, and able to work independently while communicating effectively with clients and co-workers in this fully remote role. To provide effective support to multiple clients, the candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, highly versatile environment to meet the expected demands and deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day guidance and support to existing customers relating to our ACGI software platforms and industry partners
- Own and resolve customer complaints
- Effectively prioritize, troubleshoot, and escalate, if needed, reported issues through our Jira issue management software
- Supervise and schedule the education of end users on how to operate their ACGI platform correctly and efficiently via onsite or virtual client visits, in-house training, and online webinars
- Serve as the liaison between the clients and/or partners and the business analysts and software engineers
- Promote new products and services to clients
- Manage scope, time, and budget to meet project implementation expectations, coordinating with clients through each progression
- Track work orders, proposals, estimates/quotes, and other important documentation by client
- Conduct weekly or monthly status meetings with clients and follow up on issues or tasks discussed with appropriate resources, as needed
- Work with our CSR and Professional Services teams to continuously improve project management practices and processes
- Generate and verify month end account invoicing of tasks and services
- Occasionally travel and attend industry specific tradeshows
- Other departmental tasks, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum two years’ experience in managing complex software projects with a verifiable track record of successful completion
- An understanding of finance and accounting concepts and practices
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities are constantly changing
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and develop new business
- Computer proficiency with functional knowledge of browser-based interfaces, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Computer proficiency with functional knowledge of browser-based interfaces; virtual conferencing platforms; ticketing management software such as Jira or Zendesk; and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or other professional project management certification or credentialing
- Experience working in an agile methodology work environment
- Experience with ACGI’s software platforms or other association management software
- Experience working with an association or non-profit organization as a project manager, account executive, or manager
- CSS, HTML, and SQL
- Familiarity with formal Agile Methodologies
