This hands-on project delivery role does not require coding or technical architecture ownership.

Role Summary
The Technical Project Manager plans, executes, and closes technical and systems-integration projects for the PMO — owning scope, schedule, and stakeholder communication from initiation through delivery. This role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical complexity into terms that drive decisions, and keeping projects aligned with priorities through the changes that inevitably arise during delivery. This is a hands-on coordination and delivery role, not a technical architecture role: technical decision-making remains with the Head of PMO.Software rollouts and implementations require technical project leads
Key Responsibilities
● Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with the Head of PMO, stakeholders, and technical leads
● Build and maintain project plans — work breakdown, dependencies, resource assignments, and milestone schedules — for data/software readiness and integration projects (ERP integrations, source onboarding, API work)
● Run regular project check-ins and status meetings with technical and business stakeholders
● Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues; escalate blockers to the Head of PMO with recommended options
● Track and report project status using agreed metrics; produce status reports and dashboards for stakeholders
● Manage scope changes through a lightweight change process, flagging impact on timeline and resources to the Head of PMO
● Coordinate cross-functional dependencies between BI, IT, vendors, and business teams
● Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including deliverable tracking and SOW/invoice follow-up
● Identify the right stakeholders/SMEs for a given technical question and route conversations accordingly
● Translate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders — status updates, risk flags, scope changes
● Partner with the BI Manager to understand data readiness requirements coming out of the roadmap
● Document lessons learned after major project milestones to improve future delivery
Required Qualifications
● 3-5+ years project management experience, ideally with systems/data integration or ERP-adjacent projects
● Comfortable working with technical teams without needing to build or write code themselves — needs to understand data flow and integration concepts well enough to scope and troubleshoot at a project level
● Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — this role lives at the technical/non-technical interface
● PMP certification preferred, or willingness to pursue as part of department learning plan
● Experience coordinating vendor relationships and timelines
Nice to Have
● Exposure to BI/data platforms or ERP systems (Vista, ProjectSight) generally
● Construction or field-services industry background
