Technical Project Manager - Romania

Position Overview:

DeepSource Technologies is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven experience managing the delivery of IT projects in a fast-paced environment. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, from scope definition and requirement gathering to execution and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all project deliverables align with client expectations and business objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring timely resolution of obstacles.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates and ensuring alignment with stakeholders on project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to align with project goals.
• Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback from stakeholders and implementing best practices in project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, particularly in IT/technical environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proven experience in managing technical projects with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward risk management.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is highly desirable.
