Join Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) as Technical Project Manager – Revelle™ Emission Monitoring
Location: Norway (Lysaker), Greece (Piraeus), Netherlands (Rotterdam), Germany (Hamburg) | Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Today, ship owners face mounting pressure to decarbonize yet still rely on fuel-based emission calculations - a method that’s inherently inaccurate. This traditional approach comes with regulatory risk, leads to carbon tax overpayments, and fails to provide the precision needed for effective decarbonization strategies. We believe there is a better way.
Our mission is to deliver the most valuable emissions monitoring solution in maritime - empowering ship owners with real-time, accurate data that drives compliance excellence, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. As global regulations tighten and the race to decarbonize accelerates, those who master emissions will lead. The rest will follow.
Join Us in Building the Future of Maritime Emission Monitoring!
We are assembling a world-class team across product, delivery, and commercial functions - people who thrive on solving hard problems and building exceptional products. If you are driven by purpose and want to redefine how the maritime industry measures and manages emissions, this is your opportunity.
About The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Revelle’s emission monitoring systems across individual vessels and entire fleets.
In this role, you will own the full delivery lifecycle - from vessel evaluation and installation feasibility, through system configuration and customer consultation, to installation, commissioning, and post-deployment optimization. A key responsibility will be aligning delivery schedules with vessel operations to minimize disruption, while coordinating across product, supply chain, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution.
Your blend of project management expertise and engineering know-how will ensure Revelle’s solutions perform reliably at sea and earn the trust of ship owners worldwide - positioning us as the preferred partner for direct emission monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the sales team with technical solution proposals, system configuration, and technical Q&A with ship owners and operators.
Manage the full technical project lifecycle, including system configuration, vessel inspection, feasibility studies, system design, hardware supply, planning, installation, and commissioning.
Coordinate with third-party technical project managers, supervisors, and mechanical/electrical technicians to ensure timely, high-quality installations.
Collaborate with product teams to improve hardware design and simplify onboard integration.
Ensure compliance with classification requirements and support onboard inspections.
Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, processes, and overall project delivery excellence.
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
8+ years of experience in project management, maritime engineering, and systems integration or technical delivery.
Hands-on experience with onboard installations and commissioning.
Strong understanding of documentation requirements and maritime standards.
Proven ability to manage relationships with customers and third-party stakeholders.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
