As a Technical Project Manager III in Corporate & Investment Bank Payments Technology Team, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.
Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Program/Project Management, Project execution, Agile and JIRA management.
  • Excellent knowledge of JIRA. Should be very strong in Agile Development Life cycle and on SCRUM methodologies.
  • Advanced Knowledge and experience using various desktop and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Confluence , Sharepoint and Power Point
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills. Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work against competing demands.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Stakeholder management across technology, business and Operations. Partnering closely with product leads to determine delivery approach and priority areas.
  • E2E execution and implementation of Work streams under management. Scrum Master responsibilities.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile certifications are preferable.
  • Good exposure on Banking & Technology projects. Previous background in project development & implementation is a plus.
