Role Summary 

FlexTrade is seeking a Client Implementation Project Manager, FX for our team in the Americas. This client-facing role leads trading-system implementations for new and existing clients across the complete project life cycle. 

You will represent FlexTrade during client implementations and coordinate requirements, delivery, updates, risks, and escalations. You will manage several client projects while partnering with implementation, development, support, operations, sales, and client services teams. 

You will ensure that client goals are clearly understood and successfully delivered by the Client Services team. You will manage multiple client implementations, keeping deliveries on schedule and expectations aligned. You will work directly with clients’ trading desk and technology teams, alongside other Client Services teams, to bring projects to successful completion. Success in this position depends on understanding priorities from the client’s perspective and managing projects and deliverables effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client-facing implementations for new and existing FX trading-system clients from initiation through completion. 

• Serve as FlexTrade’s primary implementation contact for assigned clients, meetings, updates, requirements, and escalations.

• Manage multiple client projects, tracking priorities, owners, open items, risks, dependencies, and deadlines.

• Gather, clarify, document, and manage functional and technical requirements throughout each implementation engagement.

• Develop project plans, implementation schedules, milestones, and timelines with clients and internal teams.

• Coordinate Development, Technical Support, Operations, Sales, and Client Services against agreed client commitments.

• Work directly with client trading desks, technology teams, project stakeholders, and senior contacts.

• Provide clear project updates, document decisions, assign actions, and manage follow-ups after meetings.

• Manage client expectations regarding scope, priorities, delivery timelines, dependencies, and identified project risks.

• Identify blockers early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate delivery concerns to appropriate stakeholders.

• Lead client escalations, coordinate resolution plans, and maintain transparent communication until successful closure.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, action logs, status reports, decisions, risks, and engagement records.

• Monitor implementation progress and report project status to senior internal and client stakeholders.

• Run quarterly client reviews and support initiatives improving implementation governance and delivery processes.

• 5+ years of relevant implementation experience. 

• Client-facing financial technology project management experience. 

• Knowledge of FX or equities trading workflows.

• Understanding of buy-side or sell-side platforms.

• Experience with EMS, OMS, or trading technology.

• Proven requirements gathering and engagement scoping skills.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects.

• Experience managing risks, dependencies, and escalations.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proactive, accountable, and collaborative working style.
