This role requires a strong blend of project execution and business/financial management — working closely with procurement, vendors, and finance teams to manage budgets, purchase orders, and telecom expenses.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and deliver infrastructure projects such as EOL/hardware refresh, new office build-outs, site decommissions, and relocations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource plans, and milestones for each project.
  • Lead infrastructure integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures (network, data center, compute, and storage).
  • Coordinate with carriers/ISPs for new circuit installations, upgrades, or disconnections tied to project timelines (build-outs, relocations, decommissions).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (network, data center, and various IT support groups) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage risks and dependencies, track project status, provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership, and maintain project documentation.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Build business cases, cost estimates, and financial summaries in coordination with internal technical teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending, flag variances, and provide financial reporting to finance/leadership.
  • Prepare and release purchase orders (POs) in line with approved budgets and procurement policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and telecom expense tracking for internet circuits across the global organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects (EOL refresh, infrastructure modernization, office moves, decommissions, or M&A integrations).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, data center, compute, storage and virtualization).
  • Experience working with procurement processes, vendor quotes, and purchase order management.
  • Solid grasp of budget management — CAPEX/OPEX tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with telecom expense management (circuit tracking, invoice audits, carrier coordination).
  • Proficiency with project management tools like MS project, Service now demand management, etc.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different sites/locations.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
