Summer 2025 Internship: This position is located at our Frisco, TX site location. Program dates are May 19 – August 15, 2025.
The Technical Project & Analysis Intern will support the Customer Success Team by assisting in project execution, tracking technical tasks, and ensuring follow-ups on key items such as bugs, issues, and ongoing projects. This role is a hybrid between technical analysis and project management, requiring a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks, organize project workflows, and collaborate with different teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a technical background, and project coordination abilities. They will work closely with the Director of Customer Success, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and technical teams to improve project efficiency and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Project & Task Tracking: Ensure all assigned tasks, bugs, and technical issues are followed up on and completed.
- Project Management Support: Assist in managing scope, risks, and tracking project progress.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to technical project execution.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates for ongoing initiatives.
- Customer Issue Management: Capture customer defects/issues, ensure proper follow-up, and track resolutions.
- Process Improvement: Organize documentation, maintain Team sites, and enhance tracking methodologies.
- Technical Support & Testing: Participate in the testing of Retail IT systems and assist in troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Collaboration: Work with multiple teams, including Product, Engineering, and Development, to streamline technical and project-related activities.
Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:
- Education: Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and work with technical concepts, tools, and processes.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis experience.
- Project Management Skills: Tracking tasks, ensuring follow-ups, and managing project workflows.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Tools: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Preferred tool: Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA
- Additional tools: Tableau, Power BI
- Self-motivated & Detail-Oriented: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Retail IT, AI-based devices, and SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and software testing methodologies.
- Understanding of data visualization tools for reporting purposes.
