The Role
Veeva’s Security team is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects deploying cyber security systems, tracking scheduled work, and reporting project status and metrics to both security and product teams. This position requires someone with a technical background that can assist with technical system reviews and validation efforts to ensure systems are functioning per the project requirements. The technical program manager will provide coordination between various security, IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure success.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for the coordination and reporting of multiple security projects (SAST, SCA, DAST, Vulnerability Management)
- Builds and maintains working relationships within security and with internal IT/product teams, and vendors
- Present vulnerability metrics and health to development teams
- Create dashboards and metrics to track SLAs and remediation timelines
- Scope new projects, create and execute plans for proof of value evaluations with potential new or existing vendors
- Enable your project team to focus on solution design, prototyping, configuration, training, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- 6+ years of experience with college coursework or certification such as PMP or Scrum in lieu of a formal degree
- Scrum or Agile certification or training
- 4+ years in systems and program management
- 4+ years in building workflow maps, project timelines, and tracking
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, etc.)
- Microsoft Project, Smartsheet’s, JIRA or similar project management software
- Understanding of IT systems, security, databases, and enterprise architecture
- Complex problem-solving and ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Basic understanding of cyber security principles
- Project Management Certification and/or Licensed Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, or similar tools
- 5+ years of experience working in the Technology Industry

Compensation
- Base pay: $100,000 - $145,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
