Job Summary
The Healthesystems (HES) Technical Program Manager (TPM) serves as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The TPM manages cross-functional workflows, drives program execution, and ensures all stakeholders — internal and external — are aligned and informed. While not serving as a project manager, this role consults with project managers to facilitate execution of all HES-related technical efforts. The TPM also serves as a technical liaison for the account management team on external client communications.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements from internal and external stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable work items for technical teams.
- Translate complex data and stakeholder input into clear, executable solutions.
- Create, document, and manage end-to-end business and technical workflows across the program lifecycle.
- Oversee project delivery by proactively identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks before they impact timelines or client commitments.
- Communicate project status clearly and appropriately to diverse audiences, including internal operations teams, Tech & AI, leadership, and external clients and partners.
- Support technical and business teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and go-live.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of formal project management experience.
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and/or similar project management tools strongly recommended.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, strong skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Experience working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills required.
- Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team environment required.
- Knowledge of health information or healthcare services preferred.
