The Technical Program Manager, Silicon Development will be responsible for tracking schedules, managing documentation, monitoring risk, and reporting progress across diverse teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, preferably with experience in hardware, wireless systems, and/or semiconductor development. They will ensure program objectives are met through meticulous attention to project execution, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
This position will report to the Director, Technical Program Management and will work closely with managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams in our Saratoga, CA office.
What you will do:
- Maintain and update project schedules to ensure timely execution of key deliverables, tracking milestones and deadlines while providing regular status updates
- Collaborate with team leads to manage resources and priorities
- Organize and maintain all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical documents, reports, and meeting minutes
- Identify potential risks and maintain a risk log, working with project leads to develop mitigation strategies and track the resolution of key delays
- Prepare and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any potential delays
- Facilitate communication across teams and disciplines, ensuring stakeholders are well informed
- Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up on deliverables
- Ensure external partners, vendors, and internal teams adhere to program schedules and documentation requirements
- Assist in budget tracking and expedite the procurement process as needed
What you bring to this role:
- 3-5+ years of experience in program management within technology sectors, with a preference for experience in hardware, wireless systems, semiconductor development, or chip products
- Experience in the semiconductor development process or familiarity with product lifecycle management for chip products
- Familiarity with product development and life cycle management in technical fields, ideally involving hardware design or system integration.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information effectively
- Hands-on experience with tracking and managing schedules, risk logs, and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
