Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive, multi-year AI/ML training and upskilling strategy across the enterprise. Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize learning curriculums targeting technical teams, business leaders, and general employees.
- Architect and oversee internal AI/ML education initiatives and change management efforts to drive widespread adoption.
- Own and implement a robust internal communications strategy for the AI Office. Translate complex AI/ML initiatives into clear, compelling messaging for diverse internal audiences, frequently briefing and presenting to executive leadership.
- Oversee the creation and management of AI-related communication materials (e.g., newsletters, executive summaries, internal articles, presentations) and training content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with EchoStar's strategic vision
- Establish frameworks and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for training program effectiveness and communications reach. Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize delivery methods and report ROI and adoption metrics to the C-suite.
- Enforce and champion training and communication around Responsible AI, ethics, governance, and data privacy to ensure all AI deployments strictly adhere to EchoStar's commitment to fairness, transparency, and compliance.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or a related technical or business field
- 8-12+ years of experience in communications, corporate training, learning & development, or program management, preferably within a fast-paced technology or telecommunications company
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working directly within an AI/ML or Data Science organization (e.g., an AI Center of Excellence or dedicated AI Office)
- Certifications in Program Management (e.g., PgMP, PMP) or Instructional Design
- Deep expertise and a proven track record of developing and deploying technical and non-technical training programs specifically focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Data Science concepts at an enterprise scale.
- Demonstrated expertise or advanced familiarity in leveraging enterprise generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) for content creation or workflow automation
- Proven, hands-on experience developing and deploying technical and non-technical training programs specifically focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) , or Data Science concepts
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to distill complex, technical AI concepts into accessible, business-focused strategic narratives for all levels of the organization, including the C-suite.
- Advanced program management capabilities, with demonstrated success directing a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs, managing high-level risks, and establishing measurable program goals and timelines.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), communication platforms (e.g., Google Workspace), and modern instructional design tools

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
