As a Technical Product Associate in the Chase UK - Developer Experience Engineering team within the Platform organisation, you deliver platform-as-a-product tooling that will be the foundation for building, maintaining, and expanding the bank’s operations.
By taking a platform-as-a-product approach, you put product and platform teams at the heart of our products and build roadmaps that accelerate global product launches. Above all, you know how to prioritise the most important features based on business value and customer needs.
This is a role for someone who thrives in the detail of platform engineering while also engaging a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Influence and execute product strategy in partnership with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Define roadmaps ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Take the lead on identifying, prioritising, and launching new features that enhance the developer experience.
- Drive key activities such as quarterly planning and OKRs.
- Be hands on, detail oriented and outcome focused.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Gather requirements from a range of stakeholders, understand platform pain points and prioritise features to deliver the most value in accordance with business objectives.
- Able to drive key strategic activities including quarterly planning, OKR updates, technical backlog creation and roadmapping.
- Balance the development of strategic features with ad-hoc business demand and support of a live platform in production.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across a range of technical and non-technical teams, with ability to manage expectations and influence key decisions regarding the platform.
- Passion for continuous learning.

- Previous experience in technical product management, software engineering or in a technical role.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure platforms (AWS or other).
- Experience with one or more observability platforms and tools.
