Your role and responsibilities
As a result of growth of our organization ABB (MVD), We are currently looking for candidates for a position of Product Coordinator in our factory in Aleksandrów Łódzki. This person will have technical ownership of one of Medium Voltage Drives product families. Ensure that product strategy is translated into life cycle priorities, product improvements, quality actions, cost initiatives and product evolution across all manufacturing locations

You will be mainly accountable for:
Own and maintain the lifecycle roadmap for the product in alignment with Product Management and Global Q and LCM management.
Act as the primary contact for product maintenance, technical issues, and engineering changes. Owner of product testing programs and pass/fail criteria.
Managing product releases and product configuration management. Coordinating implementation of engineering changes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
Own product cost competitiveness at global technical product level and drive product cost improvement initiatives in cooperation with Operations and Supply Chain.
Managing and maintaining product data, configurations and dimensioning rules as inputs for configuration tools.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, and sustainability.
Manage component obsolescence management and product sustainability activities.
Perform root cause analysis, document technical decisions and solutions, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure successful product lifecycle management.
Qualifications for the role
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Automation, Power Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering Change Management, or a similar technical role.
Excellent understanding of Medium Voltage Drives, power electronics, electrical systems, converters, inverters, motor control, and protection systems.
Ability to read, interpret, and work with electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Knowledge of IEC and UL standards relevant to medium-voltage equipment, power electronics, and industrial drive systems.
Experience with ERP and PLM systems, preferably SAP and Windchill, as well as product lifecycle and configuration management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Fluent English and Polish. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.
