We’re looking for an experienced product marketing manager with a strong mix of technical acumen and business savvy. This is a strategic, high impact role, reporting directly to WordPress VIP’s Director of Product Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead our effort to engage with the technical personas involved in a CMS purchase decision.
- Develop a detailed understanding of our technical buyers, their challenges, objections, and architectures, and help our sales and marketing teams navigate the buying journey.
- Own positioning across the competitive landscape, and drive understanding of our key competitive differentiators and messages that will separate us from the pack.
- Enable our sales, business development, and solutions engineering teams to more effectively win technical evaluations.
- Produce compelling content that communicates our unique capabilities. You will drive our message to technical buyers, and build content to win mindshare and drive awareness with this key audience.
- Launch new products and features to target prospects, channel partners, and the existing WordPress enterprise customer base.
- Be a strategic advisor across Product, Engineering, and Sales on roadmap priorities and product strategy.
Requirements:
- Have at minimum 3+ years of experience launching successful GTM for B2B products and services.
- At least 1 year of experience working in marketing to technical buyers, developer marketing, or related fields.
- Have a strong technical understanding of CMS systems, and experience working with WordPress, PHP, or related technologies. Strong plus if you’ve developed your own plugins or themes.
- Strong communication skills, capable of switching between business discussions and communication with technical staff.
- Have experience working closely with enterprise sales teams on messaging, content, and playbooks.
- Have worked in highly cross-functional teams, and have demonstrated accomplishments which showcase your ability to partner with different teams across the company.
- Have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
Salary range: $125,000-$180,000 USD. Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
