The Tech Product Manager will be working to mature Optum Payment Integrity's lettering infrastructure that's used to inform providers of payment integrity activities. This will involve management of multiple systems that hold letter templates, populate those templates with data sourced from different audit platforms, escalation management, and advancing Payment Integrity's digitization agenda through digital delivery of letters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, business partners, and vendors to establish project priorities, requirements, success criteria, and timelines
- Create roadmaps in Aha that reflect current priorities within Payment Integrity's Program Increment schedule
- Working directly with Engineering teams to implement new product features aimed at simplifying the provider communication experience
- Evaluating multiple solution designs to inform best path forward in solving complex problems
- Fostering ongoing collaboration and communication among all stakeholders involved
- Communicate priorities and progress updates to leadership, stakeholders, and product leads, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain efficiency in fast-paced environments
- Track project progress, proactively identify potential blockers, and report delivery timelines in a transparent manner
- Monitor and measure end user engagement and performance metrics, presenting data objectively when required
- Respond rapidly to urgent business needs, including end user requests and application support items
- Lead and execute technology improvements supporting our infrastructure and environmental spaces through advanced IT and AI solutions
- Define project scope, plan, and deliver projects according to agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints
- Ensure adherence to change management processes to facilitate delivery within budget and optimize revenue opportunities
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues throughout the project
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience working with technology powered products and modern product discovery/delivery methods
- Experience working in Aha to author features and user stories, creating roadmaps, and tying Aha records together in a way that serves the strategic narrative of the team
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to advance work and deliver solutions
- Experience driving continuous feedback loops to ensure customer focused delivery
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing requirements and aligning tasks to business objectives, Objectives and Key Results, and product vision
- Understanding of healthcare, health tech, and professional services
- Proven skills in communicating challenges, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders
- Proven ability to understand capabilities across a product portfolio and how features impact other functions or systems
- Proven ability to build relationships, remove obstacles, and resolve conflicts across product and engineering teams
- Proven success in working both independently and within a team
