We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to act as a liaison between the Product Management team and Global Customer Support (GCS).
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the design of the Aras “SaaS” cloud solution. You’ll work with established cloud engineering, operations, and DevOps teams on extending and supporting the Aras cloud product portfolio.
We are looking for someone with technical product expertise in modern cloud technologies and a strong background in project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a customer-centric mindset, organizational agility, and the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface between Product Management and our cloud management team, ensuring alignment on priorities, feedback loops, and execution.
- Report directly into Product Management , supporting strategic initiatives and roadmap execution.
- In addition to shaping core product features, guide the Aras SaaS product direction considering domains such as backups, observability, performance, scalability, and supportability.
- Collaborate with customers to gather and understand their technical requirements, translating them into scalable SaaS solutions.
- Provide oversight and coordination across cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Negotiate customer requests with a clear understanding of the company’s strategic SaaS vision, balancing customization with long-term platform goals.
- Apply strong organizational and planning skills to manage competing priorities and drive execution.
- Leverage experience with Azure and Kubernetes to guide architectural decisions and deployment strategies.
- Maintain visibility into customer feedback and support trends to inform product improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support internal documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
- PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in technical product or project management roles, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional and customer-facing contexts.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and translating their needs into product deliverables.
- Familiarity with PLM systems is advantageous.
