Location: Remote
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team and help drive the development of our messaging systems. In this role, you will focus on the technical aspects of workflow design, data flow, and API design while ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to enhance the reliability and scalability of our messaging platform.
Responsibilities- Define and manage the technical roadmap for messaging systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design event-driven architectures and optimize system workflows.
- Ensure messaging systems meet privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
- Work on API design to enable seamless integrations with other platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical and business objectives.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation related to messaging workflows.
- Identify risks and challenges in system architecture and propose solutions.
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a technical role.
- Familiarity with privacy and security principles in a messaging context.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture, system workflows, and API design.
- Experience working with engineering teams on technical documentation and system integration.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with system integrations and backend architecture.
- Exposure to microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets, or other messaging technologies.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization in secure messaging systems.
