SAP Product Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SAP Technical Product Manager to take ownership of Smart Exporter, drive its strategic vision, and ensure its continued success in meeting the evolving needs of our global user base.

❗ Please note: this role is NOT a B2B contract. This is a Full-Time permanent role.

📍 Location:  This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work  3 days a week in Romania, Cluj office, located at Eminescu, nr. 2.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to understand user needs, pain points, and trends.
• Analyze competitor offerings and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and support teams to align product positioning and communication strategies.
• Lead agile product development efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Continuously refine the product based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Provide direction to development teams to help make informed decisions about scalability, security, and performance, ensuring alignment with the product’s strategic goals.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the SAP ecosystem, including new versions, module enhancements, integration capabilities, and certification requirements, to ensure Smart Exporter remains compatible and competitive.
• Advocate for and prioritize technical debt reduction and infrastructure improvements to maintain a high-performing product.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to sunset, ensuring alignment with Caseware’s strategic goals.
• Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with SAP systems, both ECC and S/4HANA, including public cloud landscapes, and implementing manufacturer-specific interfaces.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on data acquisition, transformation, and integration within the SAP ecosystem.
• Knowledge of SAP certification processes and integration best practices to ensure compliance and seamless interoperability.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey product requirements, technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders, as well as handling key customer support.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and improve data extraction and integration solutions based on Smart Exporter’s unique capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Background in financial audit, accounting, or familiarity with the processes and requirements of the financial services industry (nice to have).
• Experience in performing thorough testing for complex solutions and ensuring the high quality of implemented features (nice to have).
