Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join the Spark R&D team that is responsible for the development of software systems for the design and manufacturing of orthodontic appliances. You will act as the product owner for one of our software products or feature areas. In this role, you will partner with the business product manager, internal and external customers, and our software development managers to build a short term and long term roadmap for the product/area you own. Then, you will own the creation of user stories, sprint planning, requirement and backlog grooming, and software requirement management and specifications. You will help support the development of SPARK customer facing website and services as well as and potentially internal web applications.

The TPM will be responsible for leading the team through all the steps involved in the software development cycle. We are looking for a leader who is a great communicator and a collaborator, who drives the project by setting examples. The person who has demonstrated success in leading large complex projects and brings clarity to the group

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a technical product manager, software development manager, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in process definition/improvements, program management, tools.
  • Experience with Agile software development, preferably in a regulated environment
  • Experience in team leadership, decision making, and presenting to groups.
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics fields or equivalent relevant work experience
