About the Job:

We believe in harnessing the power of technology to create learning environments that educate, empower, and inspire. As a Technical Product Manager, you will guide the development, deployment, rollout and evolution of innovative products that meet customer needs and push market boundaries. This role requires end-to-end ownership of product development, balancing technical and business needs while driving results.

Performance Based Objectives:

  • Insights-Driven Leadership: Within the first 30 days, you will immerse yourself deeply in the Enterprise L&D ecosystem, OpenSesame’s product offerings, and customer needs and opportunities. You will go on to establish data-informed decision-making, strong stakeholder and customer feedback loops, and product health metrics that demonstrate your positive impact on product and business growth.
  • Driving Product Outcomes: Within the first 60 days you will work with your cross-functional team to deliver new products and features that meet customer needs and business goals. You will consistently prioritize solutions with the highest business value while addressing bugs, security findings, and technical debt.
  • Innovation & Product Strategy: Within the first 90 days, you will develop a credible, ambitious strategic roadmap for your product, responding to current market demands and proactively anticipating future trends and technological breakthroughs. You will go on to lead experiments with state-of-the-art technologies to identify new opportunities and tackle existing challenges.
  • Thought Leadership & Strategic Impact: After 1 year, you will be recognized as a thought leader and expert in your product domain. You will influence the strategic direction of the company by advocating for innovative technologies and methodologies that set new industry standards.

Performance Driven: We're looking for self-starters with a track record of delivering excellent results, but we're highly selective about who we hire. We don't focus on typical job requirements, instead, we're interested in specific examples from your past experiences. All positions can be based anywhere in the US, and require up to 15 days of travel per year, with senior management and leadership teams requiring up to 35 days.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is generally between $110,000 -160,000 per year and depends on experience. At OpenSesame, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees upon hire, including professional development, ISOs, health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, relying on market data to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience. We prioritize pay transparency, fairness, and equity to create a positive and inclusive work environment, regularly reviewing our compensation practices to align with our values and goals.

Equal Employment Opportunity: OpenSesame is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer that values and welcomes diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of various legally protected characteristics, including criminal history, and strive to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. We prioritize safety and security and may use your information accordingly, and you can contact us for assistance or accommodations during the job application process.
