Role Overview: 

You must have current experience as a product manager in the online sportsbetting/casino industry or fast paced high volume fintech / banking sector. 

Trading is central to the provision of our main product. The quality of the trading function directly impacts both customer experience and revenues. The tools used by traders are crucial to the success of the department.

As BetKing’s trading product manager, you will have a direct impact on our business, owning the portfolio of feed hub and integrations, trading tooling, and working to deliver efficient and sophisticated toolset with other product managers in your team to meet the evolving needs of the business.

You will need to be visionary to not only understand the needs today but the needs of the future, demanding and incorporating data led decisions.

You will be a key to bridging the gap between trading, sportsbook, product and technology being able to facilitate effective communication, requirements and testing between departments.

What You Will Be Doing:  

  • Develop technical requirements and specifications for projects that require in-depth knowledge of the Feed Hub, including feature enhancements and upcoming feed integrations.
  • Simplify complex product requirements or technical cases when communicating with senior business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for technology to solve key problems, understanding both traders' requirements and technology capabilities.
  • Proactively seek alternative solutions and always be prepared to answer the "what happens if not fixed / delivered" question in language that business stakeholders can understand.
  • Act as a focal point for stakeholders, ensuring that Feed Hub features meet the needs of the Sportsbook system and traders while delivering top-notch service to customers.
  • Manage the Feeds Backlog within the Trading Technology domain, gatekeeping for the development team to prioritize the highest-value items based on the team's capacity.
  • Resolve immediate technical issues and communicate them to relevant channels in plain language.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of both the business and technology landscape, devising plans and roadmaps that support business goals while considering internal and third-party solutions.
  • Own functional and non-functional product KPIs, advocating for continuous improvement as the business scales.
  • Represent the Feeds squad in technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Need for This Role:  

  • Prior experience as a Product Manager with an engineering or trading background, ideally in Sports Betting, Trading Technology, Gaming, or Fintech industries.
  • Excellent understanding of automating trading functions and processes.
  • Extensive experience in working on the specification and product strategies of trading tools and technology.
  • Proactive ability to foresee technical and operational problems before they arise, allowing for timely warnings to relevant stakeholders and facilitating unblocked releases and smooth product operations.
  • Thorough awareness of data and its effective utilization for problem-solving.
  • Ability to lead, create product specs, and resolve user and technology-related issues.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and highly collaborative.
