Job Description:

As a Technical Product Manager at Northbeam, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality product solutions that support our business. You will own product development  from design to launch. You'll have close feedback loops with users, customers, product leads and our customer success team. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and domain experts to build a scalable product, implement robust software components, and ensure the reliability and performance of our platform. Your technical expertise, communication skills, and problem-solving ability will contribute to the success of our company and shape the future of our technology stack.


We’re a remote-first company with team members in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and more.

About the Role

You can expect to work on the following:

  • Help drive and execute against the product roadmap, play a key role in the product feature planning process, and work hand-in-hand with Engineering to ensure successful delivery
  • Track and report progress along the product roadmap with a focus on the impact created by the work of the team
  • Work with our customer success team and customers to scope projects and build solutions.
  • Build the Northbeam dashboard, where we surface core marketing analytics
  • Own product development cycle end-to-end from idea to production-ready solution, as well as with engineers across the company
  • Optimize our web application for best-in-class speed of development and time to render
  • Contribute to the development of standardized, technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders

About YouRequirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience with technical products
  • Experience creating API documentation
  • Hands-on experience using and/or writing RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of web development fundamentals
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity
  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency. Must be resourceful, proactive and effective
  • Be able to analyze complex problems, propose innovative solutions, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth. A passion for exploring new technologies, frameworks, and software development methodologies
  • Proven interest and ability to mentor other product managers on the team
