What You’ll Do

As a Technical Product Manager at Edmentum, you will play a central role in bringing high‑quality, technically feasible, and meaningful solutions to life for our educators and learners. You’ll lead significant components of complex initiatives within a defined product area—connecting strategy to execution, shaping technical discovery, and coordinating closely with Engineering, Product, and Design partners to ensure clarity, feasibility, and smooth delivery. Your work will help create predictable, scalable outcomes that drive impact across our digital learning experiences.

In this role you will:

  • Surface technical trade‑offs, dependencies, and non‑functional requirements, helping shape solution approaches in partnership with Engineering and Architecture.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers during planning cycles to align work with capacity, sequencing, and delivery constraints.
  • Build and maintain the technical roadmap and backlog for your area, ensuring user stories and requirements are outcome‑oriented and execution‑ready.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment so teams share understanding of priorities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Define success metrics and use data to assess post‑launch performance, quality, and alignment with product objectives.
  • Identify and communicate risks early, propose mitigation paths, and support decision‑making with clear, concise insights.

Who You Are

  • You have experience leading technical product work within a defined product area and partnering closely with engineering teams.
  • You are skilled at translating strategy into clear scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria for complex initiatives.
  • You have experience conducting technical discovery such as MVPs, spikes, and prototypes, and surfacing feasibility risks and dependencies.
  • You are comfortable assessing technical trade‑offs and working with Engineering and Architecture to identify sustainable solutions.
  • You have strong partnership skills and are effective working with Engineering Managers during planning and delivery.
  • You have experience maintaining and prioritizing roadmaps and backlogs in agile development environments.
  • You are an excellent communicator who facilitates alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, and other teams.
  • You use data to define success metrics, evaluate performance, and guide iteration after launch.
  • You are a strong problem‑solver who can operate with ambiguity and make thoughtful trade‑off recommendations.
  • You have experience working in SaaS, data‑driven, or education technology environments.
  • You bring 6+ years of product or technical product management experience, or equivalent practical expertise.
  • You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
