We're hiring a Senior Product Manager based in Romania to work alongside our engineering team there, reporting to a US-based manager. You'll own product outcomes end to end: shaping the roadmap, turning ambiguity into clear specs, and making sure what ships actually solves the problem it was scoped to solve.
This is a builder's Product Manager role. When you have an idea, we expect you to get your hands dirty — stand up a prototype, wire up a demo, prove the concept — before handing it to engineering to make it real. You don't need to be a production engineer. You do need to be dangerous enough to build.
You'll also be the connective tissue between a US-based leadership team and Romania-based engineers — which means you need to run autonomously during your day, communicate crisply across time zones, and keep both sides confident that the right things are moving.
What you’ll do:Own the roadmap for your product area — define priorities, write specs, and make the calls on scope and sequencing
Prototype your own ideas: build proof-of-concepts, mockups, and working demos so engineering starts from something concrete, not a document
Work daily with the Romania engineering team: sprint planning, backlog grooming, unblocking decisions, and keeping delivery honest
Translate business and customer needs into requirements engineers can build against — and translate engineering realities back to stakeholders
Partner with your US-based manager on strategy, with enough async overlap to stay tightly aligned (some late-afternoon/evening calls expected)
Define success metrics for what you ship and follow through on whether it worked
Talk to customers and internal teams to keep the roadmap grounded in real problems, not assumptions
5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 in a senior or lead capacity, ideally on B2B or enterprise SaaS
A technical background — you've written code, worked hands-on with data, or built software before moving into product. You can prototype your own ideas with scripts, SQL, APIs, or modern AI-assisted tools. We don't need you fluent in Kubernetes; we need you able to turn a concept into something clickable
Enough technical depth to hold your own in architecture discussions and understand the trade-offs engineers raise — production code stays with engineering, but nothing they say should be a black box to you
A track record of shipping: products you've owned that made it to customers and delivered measurable results
Strong written and spoken English — most of your communication with leadership will be written and async
Experience working across time zones with distributed teams, or the judgment and self-direction to do it well
Comfort with ambiguity — we're a growing company and the person in this seat helps define how product gets done here
Healthcare, health tech, or other regulated-industry experience
Exposure to AI/ML products — how they're scoped, evaluated, and measured
A CS degree or prior engineering role before moving into product
Experience as the product voice embedded with an engineering team while leadership sits elsewhere
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Generous paid time off
