About The Role:

As the Product Manager, Billing Systems & Subscription Lifecycle, you will take ownership of the development and optimization of our internal billing platform, ensuring smooth subscription management, accurate billing processes, and a seamless customer payment experience. You will work closely with engineering, finance, operations, and customer success teams to build and enhance a scalable, efficient, and customer-friendly billing infrastructure.

  • Own the product strategy for the billing system and subscription lifecycle, aligning it with the company's broader business goals.
  • Drive product development by working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and customer success, to build new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Manage the end-to-end subscription lifecycle, from onboarding through renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations, ensuring smooth and seamless customer experiences.
  • Ensure billing accuracy by working with finance and technical teams to automate and optimize billing operations, payments, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Lead projects to improve operational efficiencies, reducing manual processes and streamlining workflows related to billing and subscription management.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of billing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Become a Software Maestro: From understanding and integrating with leading financial software to managing development/integrations projects, you'll wear many hats. Task definition, prioritization, time estimation, tracking progress, and reporting to senior management are all in your domain.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in the SaaS industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Advantage:

  • Strong understanding of billing cycles, or payment operations, invoicing and subscription models.
  • Experience with financial software systems, ERP, or payment processing technologies.
