What you'll be going:

At NVIDIA, we are building sensor simulation services to serve autonomous vehicle developers who want to train, test and validate their autonomous stacks in simulation. In this role, you will own the product definition and release of SDKs, reference workflows and software that will enable AV developers to model the behavior and performance of sensors. Sensor simulation for autonomous vehicles requires an ecosystem of partners contributing various elements. Your role will involve working with these partners to build sensor models and enable them to integrate their applications with Omniverse sensor simulation APIs. You will also put together a vision and tackle exciting problems in sensor simulation fidelity, scale and validation.

What we need to see:

  • BS, MS, or PhD experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of experience

  • Strong programming and scripting skills, especially in Python

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and software libraries, working with engineering or research community

  • Familiarity with Autonomous Driving including Simulation for AV stack and algorithm development

  • Background with simulators such as CARLA, IPG Carmaker, dSPACE, or in-house solutions is a plus.

  • Experience with sensor simulation and developer enagement

  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, OpenCV, MATLAB, PCL, CUDA

The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
