BlueCat is seeking a Technical Product Leader to deliver cloud network observability solutions based on flow, deep packet inspection, packet capture and AI technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing the product strategy, driving the roadmap, collecting customer feedback and delivering revenue growth for the network observability portfolio. You will join a dynamic environment and work cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.


Responsibilities:

- Develop the product strategy and roadmaps while relentlessly pursue revenue growth.

- Develop detailed technical requirements. Translate from high-level product strategy to actual implementation and work closely with Engineering on execution and tracking of the roadmap delivery.

- Responsible for synthesizing customer evolving needs, market and technology trends and competitive intelligence.

- Develop the strategic go-to-market plan including partnerships with security vendors.

- Responsible for providing thought leadership through writing technical white papers, developing training materials and collateral.

- Partner with the marketing team to execute product launches and work cross-functionally to execute seamless execution of GTM strategies.


The successful candidate will require an excellent track record that exhibits some or all the following capabilities and skills:

- Typically requires BSEE/CS combined with 5+ yrs product management

experience.

- Hands-on experience with cloud network observability products (e.g. Datadog, Dynatrace) with a focus on performance monitoring.

- Experience working with cloud network technologies including VPCs, VPNs, transit gateways, SD-WAN, SASE, direct connect and ExpressRoute.

- Deep understanding of cloud network architectures for AWS, Azure and GCP.

- Deep understanding of monitoring KPIs like latency, packet loss, jitter, application response times, and network path analysis.

- Possess understanding of networking and security architectures. Experience in building, designing and managing Enterprise networks is a plus.

- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and other open-source observability standards.

- Demonstrate industry awareness and knowledge of the competitive marketplace.

- Ability to solve problems with innovative ideas and work across a number of stakeholders effectively with demonstrated leadership skills.

- Ability to manage scope, risks and issues across multiple projects.

- Excellent written and oral skills along with superior interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment.
