FICO (NYSE: FICO) is a leading global analytics software company, helping businesses in 100+ countries make better decisions. Join our world-class team today and fulfill your career potential!

At FICO, we are always looking for exceptional talent to drive our ambitious growth strategy. While we may not have an immediate opening, this is a general posting for Technical Pre-Sales Consultants who specialize in enterprise technology within the financial services sector.  If you’d like to learn more, we encourage you to apply so that we can begin a conversation and consider you for opportunities as they arise.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for a career where you can consult with external clients to understand business needs and design solutions based on industry-leading technology? FICO's world-class decision intelligence platform is used across multiple industries to manage risk, fight fraud, build more profitable customer relationships, optimize operations, and meet strict government regulations. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will serve as a key technical presales to the sales team — ensuring that FICO proposes the optimal solution to best meet customer needs.

At FICO, Pre-Sales Consultants don't just support deals — they shape them. You'll sit at the intersection of technology and business strategy, translating complex client challenges into compelling, tailored solutions. If you thrive on variety, love digging into business problems, and get energized by the moment a client's eyes light up during a great demo, this role is for you.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Be the trusted advisor in the room. Lead discovery sessions that uncover your clients' real pain points, strategic priorities, and growth ambitions — then help design the right FICO solution to get them there.

  • Tell the story. Build and deliver customized, high-impact product demonstrations that connect our technology directly to what matters most to each client.

  • Solve creatively. Collaborate across FICO's product teams to architect innovative solutions — from proof of concepts to full proposals — that address complex business needs.

  • Win the deal. Own RFI/RFP responses, pricing scenarios, ROI analyses, and competition-differentiating sales strategies that give the team a decisive edge.

  • Build FICO's reputation. Represent us at client workshops and industry conferences, while keeping your own sales team sharp through ongoing product education.

What We’re Seeking

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in a pre-sales (or post-sales with a strong sales aptitude) consulting role — with a track record of crafting solutions that genuinely move the needle for clients.

  • Domain knowledge that sets you apart. Experience in one or more of the following areas is a strong plus: Originations (credit application processing, decisioning workflows, or onboarding), Customer Management (portfolio management, credit line strategies, or lifecycle decisioning), or Fraud (detection, prevention, case management, or authentication). If you've worked inside a bank, lender, or fintech in any of these spaces, you'll hit the ground running.

  • The ability to command a room whether you're presenting to a technical stakeholders or a C-suite executive — and the written skills to back it up.

  • A problem-solver's mindset: you see a business challenge and start sketching solutions, not just identifying obstacles.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally as part of a collaborative solution team.

  • Flexibility to travel 10–25% of the time.

Our Offer to You

  • An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values:  Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers and Earn the Respect of Others.

  • The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.

  • Highly competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.

  • An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $161,200 to $211,200 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
