As the Technical Partner Manager, Connected Partnerships, you will be responsible for the technical aspect of driving Stava’s success globally through partnership and product, through our External API and innovative integrations.
This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Work with a wide range of companies in the fitness world, onboarding them to our platform and supporting the implementation of partner integrations
- Manage the operational side of Strava’s API Developer Program and maintain an active presence in our Developer forums
- Provide technical support to our broad developer community; prioritizing feature requests and feedback
- Triage reported issues and work with our Community Management & Engineering teams to resolve them
- Proactively identify integration issues and perform outreach to work towards a resolution
- Help to improve our API documentation in order to make integrating with Strava as seamless as possible
You will be successful here by:
- Contributing to an inclusive and motivating team culture to help everyone achieve their best
- Holding empathy for the developers and partners integrating with our platform, fostering an encouraging relationship throughout integration and beyond
- Helping to launch new, and improve upon existing integrations to our platform that enhance the end user experience
- Solving problems efficiently, creatively, and completely despite constraints in time or resources
- Understanding how critical it is we maintain a high bar of data security and privacy
We’re excited about you because:
- 3+ years of professional experience working with and a deep knowledge of APIs
- High proficiency with SQL
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to construct compelling stories and clearly articulate them to a non-technical audience
- A proven track record of meeting goals and keeping projects on pace
- High agency over your work, committed to driving outcomes and venturing into highly exploratory domains with confidence and humility
- Eagerness to collaborate and iterate on processes. You are comfortable making recommendations and helping the broader team improve our ways of working
