We are seeking a Technical Oracle HCM Specialist with strong hands-on expertise across Oracle HCM Cloud modules and integrations. This role focuses on technical configuration, integrations, data management, troubleshooting, and solution build activities within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Technical Configuration & Build- Perform hands-on configuration across Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Time & Labor, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll integrations.
- Configure business rules, workflows, approvals, event triggers, and security roles.
- Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for payroll, absence, time calculations, and validation rules.
- Configure HCM Extracts, BI Publisher reports, and OTBI analytics.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Build REST/SOAP API integrations for internal systems such as Payroll, Finance, and Time & Attendance.
- Create and manage inbound/outbound data interfaces using HDL, HCM Extracts, and FBL.
- Monitor integration failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Execute end-to-end data migration activities including mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
- Build reusable HDL templates and support bulk data updates.
- Perform data audits, reconciliations, and defect resolution.
- Provide technical support across Oracle HCM modules.
- Troubleshoot system errors, integration failures, workflow issues, and performance challenges.
- Review quarterly patches, identify technical impacts, test new features, and resolve defects.
- Analyse logs, scripts, and payloads for debugging integrations and APIs.
- Produce technical specifications, integration design documents, configuration workbooks, and support guides.
- Create test scripts and support functional testing cycles including SIT and UAT.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer to HR and IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud technical experience.
- Strong expertise in OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, HDL/PBL, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
- Experience across Core HR, Time & Labor, Absence, or Payroll integrations.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Experience integrating with external HR systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, or identity management.
- Knowledge of HCM security including roles, privileges, and data policies.
- Experience with cloud patch testing and regression automation tooling.
- Oracle HCM or OIC certifications.
