Responsibilities:Stock the Final Inspection Cells with packaging required.
Collect Finished Goods from the production floor. Label and store Finished Goods in the packing area while they await shipment.
Run shipping report to see upcoming shipments. Plan accordingly for shipments for the week, make up postal tubes in advance. Directly communicate with Group Leads if any changes to shipments.
Check that Packing Logs are with the products for shipment. Check that final quantity on SAP and packing log are matching with the physical inventory in the packing area.
Pack products that are ready for shipment. Co-ordinate with Quality and the Shipping team to ensure the correct documentation is with the shipment and packed.
Ensure that all packages/pallets are labelled and that the correct labels with customer address and quantities are attached.
Once product is in the packing area, deliver packed product to the shipping area on time for courier to collect.
Demonstrate Commitment with respect to Environmental, Health and Safety, and continuous improvements in the Stores area ensuring all team members adhere to the standards in-place.
Promote a culture of Customer focused excellence in relation to Quality.
Be flexible and take on other duties which the Company may assign you from time to time. These ‘other duties’ will be agreed with Management prior to any assignment.
- Experience in the moulding area essential.
- Working knowledge of all operating areas of respective area/cell.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Good Time Management and ability to follow production schedules.
