This position serves as a strategic execution partner for the North America CTO and Executive Vice President, BGL Green. The role is responsible for driving prioritization, coordination, follow-through, and issue resolution across cross-functional initiatives supporting CTO and Green BU objectives. This role operates as a trusted partner to the EVP to ensure key priorities progress efficiently and that critical action items do not stall due to unclear ownership, competing priorities, or lack of follow-up. The role also supports CTO-related initiatives by providing structured input on technology trends, strategic considerations, and early-stage opportunity framing.
The incumbent will influence senior stakeholders at Director and VP levels through structured coordination, disciplined PDCA execution, and executive-ready communication—without formal authority or direct people leadership.
1. Priority Management & Executive Follow-Up
- Maintain visibility of EVP priority workstreams and ensure timely progress through structured follow-up and action tracking.
- Identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, or gaps in ownership; escalate items requiring EVP attention with clear summary and recommended next steps.
- Proactively “pull forward” work by initiating early alignment and groundwork so EVP engagement occurs at the appropriate point in maturity.
- Act as an execution partner ensuring follow through on important issues.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination & Alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, BU teams, plants, and internal partners including DNJP.
- Facilitate alignment discussions, prepare agendas, document outcomes, and drive action closure.
- Align EVP schedule coordination with administrative support to ensure meetings are purposeful, organized, and outcome-driven.
- Support re-prioritization and pivoting of work based on changing business needs.
3. PDCA Execution & Continuous Improvement
