The Role
Level up your career with Veeva RTSM! Join our scaling team as a Technical Operations Engineer and power our world-class IRT/RTSM system. This fast-paced role covers everything from SRE and DevOps to Systems Admin and Release Management. If you're an ambitious, fast-learning early career engineer ready for startup energy backed by a stable, growing public company, this is your opportunity for immediate impact.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the execution and delivery within the team with a focus on quality.
- Work on key architecture initiatives including migrating RTSM Windows infrastructure to AWS.
- Iteratively define and refine operational processes and best practices as the team grows.
- Perform root cause analysis for complex failures and offer modern solutions.
- Identify and manage technical risks preventing them from becoming issues.
- Production study deployments
Requirements
- Four-year degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience in related field
- Willingness to learn!
- Experience with AWS
- Windows Server, Microsoft stack experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with scripting languages (Powershell, VBScript, etc)
- Strong communication skills
- IIS and Webserver Knowledge
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools
- Experience with VMWare/vSphere
